Map Impact and Intensel join nxtbldng as climate data partners

CFP Green Buildings is pleased to announce partnerships with Map Impact and Intensel, who join nxtbldng as climate data partners. Until now, climate and extreme weather data have often been scattered across disconnected platforms, making it difficult to turn data into actionable insights. By bringing climate and environmental intelligence into nxtbldng, organisations can access property-level insights through a single interoperable platform.

Expanding access to climate intelligence

Map Impact and Intensel bring climate, extreme weather and environmental intelligence into nxtbldng at the property level, replacing generalised estimates and fragmented sources with decision-ready insight in a single platform.

Expanded climate risk data coverage

Map Impact provides property-level nature and climate risk data across the UK, including hazard scores for heat, wildfire and drought risks. Intensel delivers property-level extreme weather data with global coverage. These insights support a wide range of use cases, including underwriting, portfolio stress-testing, adaptation planning and resilience strategies.

Together, these datasets give nxtbldng customers a precise, property-level understanding of physical climate risks and environmental challenges, not generic indicators pieced together from multiple sources.

Transforming fragmented data into actionable intelligence

Climate and extreme weather data have historically been siloed and hard to connect to the assets they affect. nxtbldng helps address this challenge by bringing climate and environmental intelligence together with building, energy, sustainability and portfolio data within a single platform.

This partnership also expands nxtbldng’s climate data marketplace, connecting granular, property-level climate intelligence with other building- and asset-level data at a scale not previously possible.

As a result, banks, investors, insurers, property owners and governments can make sharper decisions on climate-related and extreme weather risk, backed by property-level data wherever their exposure sits globally.

Building a more connected and climate-resilient sector

By combining climate risk, extreme weather, environmental and building data within a single interoperable platform, nxtbldng helps organisations gain a more complete understanding of risk, resilience and investment opportunities. Together, CFP Green Buildings, Map Impact and Intensel are contributing to a more connected, climate-resilient and data-driven real estate sector.
