London Climate Action Week: a pivotal moment for decarbonisation in the built environment
London Climate Action Week (LCAW) will take place from 20 to 28 June and has grown into one of Europe’s largest independent climate events. This year’s event comes at a critical crossroads for climate action in the built environment as we see strategic divergence across regions, sectors and market participants.
“Whilst the global picture on climate action is more fragmented than in previous years, for the built environment the picture has never been clearer: well-managed sustainable buildings are more valuable, have lower operating costs and are more resilient to increasing climatic events. For banks, the transition to more sustainable, low-carbon and resilient buildings is a significant topic through both the risk & opportunity lens.” – David Willock, Senior Advisor, CFP Green Buildings.
CFP Green Buildings will be actively present in London throughout the week and is contributing to the programme as a sponsor of an exclusive breakfast keynote and panel discussion on Tuesday 23 June.
