Investing together in Nepal. Join us and experience the impact

CFP Green Buildings is organising a special journey to Nepal. Together with a select group of partners and clients, we will visit the villages where we have invested in clean drinking water and sanitation in recent years. This is not a symbolic visit, but a genuine impact journey. It is a unique opportunity to experience first hand what long term investment can achieve.

Impact at the heart of our mission

At CFP, we work every day on future proof buildings. We support real estate owners and financial institutions in making their buildings smarter and more efficient. As a B Corp, we believe impact is not a marketing term, but a responsibility. That responsibility does not stop at real estate. And it does not stop at national borders.

For many years, CFP has supported a wide range of social and international initiatives, both in the Netherlands and abroad. From SailWise and Fight Cancer to the Maldives Whale Shark Research Programme, polar expeditions to the North and South Pole, and projects in Kenya and Nepal. Always with the same goal. To contribute to measurable and long term impact.

Our projects in Nepal since 2019

Since 2019, we have invested in one or two projects in Nepal each year. Not one off donations, but long term collaboration with trusted local partners through a proven delivery structure, in close cooperation with the Unica Foundation.

We have now realised seven projects and reached more than 2,900 people directly. In total, we have invested over €150,000. In Nepal, the purchasing power of our euro is on average five times higher. This means our investment translates into a local impact of approximately €750,000.

This difference is visible in communities where access to clean drinking water and sanitation was not a given for many years, but is now within reach.

Clean water for 331 people in Chitwan

In our most recent project in the village of Naibendi Gochhirang in the Chitwan region, 62 households now have access to safe drinking water, sanitation facilities and hygiene training. This directly improves the lives of 331 people.

The community largely consists of ethnic minorities who face structural socio economic challenges. Access to clean water means fewer illnesses, less school absenteeism and more opportunities to work and develop. What is taken for granted in many parts of the world makes the difference there between stagnation and progress.

Why we want to visit these projects

Impact needs to be visible. That is why we only invest in projects where implementation, monitoring and local ownership are strongly embedded. Every euro must demonstrably contribute to lasting improvement. But impact is not only something to measure. It is something to see, feel and understand.

That is why we want to visit a number of the villages where our projects have been realised. We will meet the communities and our local partners and see what long term investment really means in people’s daily lives. This is not a symbolic journey, but a conscious step to make responsibility tangible.

Join us in Nepal and help grow the impact

We invite our relations, partners and clients to join us in Nepal. Not as observers, but as co investors in long term change.

Participation in this journey is linked to sponsoring the project. Not as a donation, but as a conscious investment in measurable impact. Together, we can expand the impact we are already creating and show what shared responsibility really means.

For organisations that feel connected to CFP and our mission, this is a unique way to give our collaboration more meaning and to see with your own eyes what that investment makes possible.
