Four out of five sports clubs can go sustainable cost-effectively

Together with the Knowledge Centre for Sport and Physical Activity, we investigated five different sports facilities to assess their options for going sustainable in the most cost-effective manner. What did we find? With the help of new innovations, the right subsidy & financing and appropriate guidance, 80% can go sustainable profitably. Five sports facilities under the microscope

is one of the signatories of the Sustainability in Sport Roadmap (Routekaart Verduurzaming Sport). Together with CFP Green Buildings, they investigated the possibilities for making five sports facilities more sustainable: a rowing and sailing club, an athletics club, a tennis club, an ice rink/swimming pool and a football and handball club.
