Vivat considers sustainability important and has therefore already been ISO14.001 certified for years now. All the buildings in which Vivat is a tenant received a BREEAM certificate in 2014 and 2015. CFP used its expertise to help and advise Vivat in this regard. Vivat’s latest building – in Kruseman van Eltenweg in Alkmaar – received 10 BREEAM stars at the end of 2017, 3 for Asset and Use and 4 for Management. That makes this building one of those with the highest sustainability certification in the Netherlands. CFP helped Vivat to develop its own BREEAM certification. Vivat has already had a Green Buildings subscription with CFP for more than five years, with targets for CO2 reduction, CO2 compensation, energy monitoring, ISO 14.001, BREEAM certification, energy management, and implementation of energy-saving measures.
