- Mapping out the various health measures
- Implementing health measures in NEXT Delft design plans
To retain innovative companies and attract new ones, a.s.r. is having a new office built on the TU Delft Campus for innovative scale-ups, SMEs and corporates: NEXT Delft. ASR Dutch Science Park Fund (a.s.r.) and CFP Green Buildings are joining forces to design NEXT Delft with the WELL Building Standard in the healthiest possible way.
A sustainable healthy work environment
The past year has made it extra clear that a healthy work environment is vital. It is important to create a sustainable, healthy and future-proof environment in which people can work comfortably. That’s why during the completion of NEXT Delft, not only the sustainability of the building (BREEAM Excellent) will be considered, but also a sustainable and healthy working environment by applying the WELL Building Standard.
Mapping out health measures
Based on WELL, the possible health measures have been mapped out. Together with a.s.r. and project developer Stone 22, CFP determined which measures could be applied to NEXT Delft. The strong drive of a.s.r. to convert this into an optimally healthy building will have a major impact and set a new standard.
During the completion of NEXT Delft, we are considering not only the sustainability of the building (BREEAM Excellent), but we are also creating a sustainable and healthy working environment by applying the WELL Building Standard.

Heading healthily into the future with the WELL Building Standard
Several WELL measures have now been implemented in the design plans for NEXT Delft. A great deal of attention is being paid, for instance, to the systems for an optimal indoor climate. The interior and exterior of the building have sufficient greenery and users are encouraged to exercise, and the interior is characterised by an eye for detail. For example, Delft Blue elements are used to show the strong connection with the immediate vicinity.
