Together with ANWB, CFP first performed a benchmark test. The results of the test showed that costs could be saved and quality could be improved in a number of areas. CFP first helped formulate strategic points of departure, and on the basis of these, defined steps to be taken for improvement. This led to the implementation of follow-up projects in energy savings and main contracting of maintenance in the company restaurant and the copy centre. In the energy savings project, CFP analysed the control engineering and the combined heat and power (CHP), the potential replacement of old systems with energy-efficient ones, and sustainable methods for generating energy. The main contract bundles dozens of maintenance service suppliers in one contract. For the company restaurant, the possibility of working with unmanned checkout counters was studied, and purchasing of ingredients was optimised. In the copy centre, insourcing options were looked into, and purchasing was optimised.
